After a few weeks break from painting due to a holiday I'm back in the painting seat. The Lictor is finished now.
I plan to move on and complete the last 4 Genestealers from a few posts ago, which will leave me with only the Hormagaunts and the Carnifex to complete before I have finished the Battleforce boxset.

ReplyDeletefirst off id like to say that i like the stuff you have done. im doing my tyranid army as well now going kraken. but building my own colors to it. any how id just like to say that i like the end result on your bugg. and id like to ask how u did the clwas on it (the red part on the back so to say) did you drybrush it or did you layer paint it ?
any how nice work on your modells m8.

ReplyDeletebase coat red gore, then red gore and blood red mixed highlight, then blood red highlight, then blood red and starburst yellow mix highlight - then a heavy wash using Baal red wash
